Brazil International Wants To Leave Real Madrid

Brazil international Kaka says he wants to leave Real Madrid before the transfer window closes.
The 31-year-old, who cost Real £56m, does not think he will get much playing time under new coach Carlo Ancelotti, his former manager at AC Milan.
The 2007 World Player of the Year is battling fellow playmakers Mesut Ozil, Isco and Luka Modric for a place.
"The club knows I want to leave and I would like them to help me find a solution for my exit," he said.

Thursday, during the UEFA Champions League group stage draw, they announced the winner of the Franck Ribéry wins UEFA 2012-13 Best Player in Europe award. The nominees included Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery. The journalists attending the draw voted for the award live, not ahead of time.
“We are playing a very good team tomorrow evening. It is not about revenge,” Ribéry said before winning the award. ”We are looking forward to playing against a great side.”
Ribéry led his Bayern Munich squad to the Champions League title last season over Bundesliga rival Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.
Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to attend the event instead electing to play for Real Madrid in a fairly lopsided and easy contest against a low-level opponent. Last year’s winner was Andrés Iniesta of Barcelona.

Eto'o Signs For Chelsea

Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Samuel Eto'o from Anzhi Makhachkala.
The 32-year-old has signed a one-year contract and on finalising the transfer he said: 'I am very happy to be here but also anxious because I want to get playing as soon as possible.
'It wasn't a hard decision. I saw the qualities Chelsea have, and I was very happy with Jose Mourinho before, so when the opportunity came, I was very happy to take it.'
A prolific striker who has scored goals at the highest level throughout his career, Eto'o learned his trade in his native Cameroon before joining the Real Madrid youth academy in 1997. He then embarked on loan spells with Leganes, Espanyol and Real Mallorca.

Mike Tyson 'Close To Death From Drugs And Alcohol'

Former undisputed heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson claims he is "on the verge of dying" from ongoing drug and alcohol problems.

Tyson, 47, admitted he is a continual substance abuser but added he is hopeful of finally getting clean.

"I want to live my sober life. I don't want to die. I'm on the verge of dying, because I'm a vicious alcoholic," Tyson said on ESPN's "Friday Night Fights".

Defending champion Andy Murray reached the second round of the US Open with less than an hour of the third day remaining as he beat France's Michael Llodra in Wednesday's night session.

The Briton, 26, completed a 6-2 6-4 6-3 victory at 11.33pm local time in New York (04:33 BST), and moves on to face Argentina's Leonardo Mayer on Friday. The decision to schedule Murray among the late matches on day three had met with criticism, as it could leave him at a disadvantage compared to his leading rivals later in the tournament.

Usain Bolt: Rested And Ready For Zurich 100m In Diamond League

Usain Bolt says he is rested and ready to run another fast time when he takes on the likes of Britain's Adam Gemili over 100m at Thursday's Diamond League meeting in Zurich.
The Jamaican won triple gold at the World Championships earlier this month, clocking 9.77 seconds to win the 100m."I have got a lot of rest," said Bolt, who believes he can run below 9.80secs at the Letzigrund Stadium.

"This track is always a fast track and I've run some fast times here."
Bolt, who ran 19.66secs to win the 200m at the same meeting a year ago, will also face American Justin Gatlin and fellow Jamaican Nesta Carter on Friday. They won silver and bronze respectively at the World Championships in Moscow.
