Chelsea Boss Jose Mourinho to increase bid for Wayne Rooney to £28m

CHELSEA were last night preparing to launch a third bid of about £28million for Wayne Rooney after their two previous efforts were snubbed. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has not given up the chase to add a new striker to his squad and said: “We will keep trying because, when the market is open, official bids are not forbidden. You try because nobody forbids you to try.
