Injury For Arsenal

Arsenal suffered a blow in their Champions League qualifier when Frenchman Laurent Koscielny had to leave the field with a head injury. He went up for a challenge in the 30th minute with Cameroonian Pierre Webo, who raised a boot which hit him in the face as he headed the ball away.
Webo was awarded a yellow card, and Koscielny looked very much in pain and bleeding as he was helped off the field by medical staff with the score at 0-0.
He was replaced by substitute Carl Jenkinson, who came off the bench for Kieran Gibbs at the weekend. Koscielny is expected to make a recovery, but the damage in the qualifier is done, missing the final 60 minutes of the match. He is due to miss the weekend's Premier League trip to Fulham due to suspension, after being sent off for two yellow cards in the 1-3 loss to Aston Villa.
